Il Pavillone - Eiscafe & Pizzeria in Uhldingen Muhlhofen

Il Pavillone Eis Cafe is located in Unterhuldingen (Germany, Baden-Württemberg), on the banks of the Bodensee, opposite the entrance to the Pfahlbauten Pile House World Heritage Site. It is also mostly a self-service restaurant and an ice cream parlor. This means you have to take out the food you ordered yourself. The service area is small, but the staff is nice. I ate a Pfahlbauten pizza for € 10.50 (I put up a picture of it) and drank a freshly squeezed orange juice for it for € 3.50. I don’t think it was expensive, but best of all, it was delicious. The rest of my family preferred ice cream. There is only an outdoor part of the pizzeria, but it was pleasant On September 20, 2020, it was still really pleasant to eat outside. You can see the lake, but not the pile houses (you have to walk down to the playground by the lake, because from there you can see some of them in the water). All in all, it’s worth coming in here, especially since my kids think even the toilets were clean and I think that’s an important aspect as well.

Super delicious open scoop ice cream, many different types: Malaga, lemon, vanilla, hazelnut, strawberry, forest fruit, pistachio, etc. everything available, all very good, always happy to return ...

We were there in September 2020 and ate very delicious ice cream. It was very clean and the service was very good. Price and performance were also OK. We were lucky with the weather and could enjoy the ice outside at 26 degrees. Will definitely come again. Thank you ???

Not recommended instead of a strawberry milkshake I got milk with a shot of ready-made strawberry sauce which made the waitresses laugh for me but not after all, I paid money for it.

In addition to a lido and half a view of the lake, the ice cream parlor has the perfect location. There are also diverse and special types of ice cream, such as "cinnamon" or "Lake Constance apple". Here I have to say that the variety is not called "BODENSEE apple" for nothing. While other manufacturers rely on sweetness, this ice cream has a slightly sour taste and goes very well with the waffle. All in all, always good things, but it should be noted that this review only applies to the ice cream parlor. From me there is ☆☆☆☆!

We wanted to see what kinds of ice cream and sundae are on offer here. Typical types of ice cream are offered, nothing spectacular and no special ice cream sundaes. Price is just Bodenseekreis level. The choice is neither wide nor deep. I wouldn't go here anymore. No card payment in the 21st century, self-service (each to his own) and then the staff does not clear away leftover food but you have to bring the table to them yourself so that the army of flies finally disappears.

- Unfortunately only self-service. - No card payment possible (especially during Corona times ..) - The selection of ice cream cups is limited - The customer leaves a tray with fruit inside and the staff does not clear it away. Flies were in a pile .. and that when working with food. I handed in the tray in front of all the gnats. The 2 scoops of ice cream that I had tasted good. I won't come here again, though. A scoop of ice cream costs 1.30 euros ... the sundaes are sometimes over 7 euros, even though there is hardly any choice and no service. The prices are clear.

The pizzas were delicious. Unfortunately, they had no local wine on offer.

Pizza tasted impeccable, crispy and richly topped, unfortunately only self-service and therefore cool canteen atmosphere in the interior (terrace area could not be used in rainy weather). The price level is too high for what is offered, there is probably a surcharge for the 1A location directly on the beach or in the immediate vicinity of the pile building museum. To the ice cream parlor: In 2020 and especially in COVID-19 times, contactless card payment should be standard - unfortunately this is not available here. The taste of the ice cream is on the same high level as the pizza and the selection of varieties leaves nothing to be desired.

Delicious ice cream, the sundaes looked as tasty as they tasted. Corona-related is currently self-service, i.e. you walk past the counter in a one-way direction like in a canteen, order and pay for your ice cream there and then take it to the square.

Located directly in front of the Pfahlbaumuseum, this café offers ice cream and pizza. The ice cream is very good. Also unusual varieties, such as grape, grapefruit or blue angel, can be found here. Special plus: the sundaes contain by default not only vanilla ice cream, but straciatella, hazelnut, or, or ... Even the vanilla ice cream is right up there in terms of taste. Disadvantage: Self service and the staff could be friendlier. Conclusion: Try and experiment with the varieties

they forgot to bring our food! we waited 1 hour to eat 2 pizzas!!! it is self service and nobody care about the guests. as excuse they didnt get food money from us

Friendly cafeteria style service. Excellent location in Unteruhldingen next to the Pile Dwelling Open air Museum.
